Camera problem in NX80V

My camera doesn't work these day. Anytime when turning on the camera, the frame of picture has only a black frame. Other function seems work well. When recording picture (even movie), it save a black picture (video) in to the memory. I guest the problem may come from the camera cabble.

Have you got this problem? Pl :confused: ease tell me how to pvercome this!!

It's the age. The wires that go to your camera doesn't work anymore. Mine has been like that for a few months now. Mine isn't all black, but has some static. (looks like some sort of gamma-ray scanner or something -_-)

Yah, Your camera will like mine in somedays. Previously, mine have that situation any time switching on, after about three months, it dead.

No doubt that I have checked all the sitiuation.

just open that NX80 and replace the cable... if there is any...

Is there any way to use the Camera light as a quick acess flashlight, mabey using something like flexbutton? does anyone know the chance of possibily.

my nx 80 camera is also DOWN. Send it to sony malaysia. They say no parts available and ask me to collect the clie. Sony said they will order the parts and expect to arrive in 2 to 3 months time. Here's an update. Got a call from sony malaysia this morning saying that they now got the nx80's camera in stock. So sent my nx80 during lunch time and and it was ready by 6pm. Costs abt usd 100/-. and it comes with a standard 3 months warranty...cheers

mine 2, for the pass week, so sony malaysia has replacement stock? and the FOC replacement is only for NZ90? so 100USD, RM400? I would like to have mine replaced cause i love the camera but the repair cost just doesn't justify it... :confused:

You are right it is quite pricey, really! Actually it costs RM 361. Hopefully Sony will soon include the nx80 for free camera replacment and so that I can claim for reimbursement.

Its more of a sentimental value really...

If u visit lelong.com.my ... may even find a bargain of sony clie. Regards.
