Charging light going off

I haven't used my Clie for awhile, and I just got a new battery. I have noticed the charging light keeps going off. Is that bad? Does that mean a dysfunctional battery or charger?

I'm assuming you mean the little green/orange LED at the top? Mine has a similar problem...I don't know if this just happened when I changed my battery, but I don't see the light up there unless I press the top with the back firmly. Loose connection somewhere inside? As far as I know, everything has been charging perfectly for the past few months since my battery change.

My second battery got here today, and the light has yet to go off. It has been 2 hours now, so that is a good sign.

Did you get the new battery installed ok?

I opened the back, and slid the battery over some cords. It was simpler than it sounded.

Congrats! Nice having a battery that doesn't go dead in an hour, isn't it.
