Redirect serial for CF GPS

I have been using PELACA's CF drivers for quite some time now with a variety of GPS applications. The problem though is that many GPS enabled applications support only the 'standard' Palm serial port and therefore will not work with PELACA's solution. It my understanding that PELACA's driver uses a different port than the 'standard' Palm serial port. Is there a way to redirect the 'standard' serial port to the port that PELACA uses for the CF GPS communication? I have seen many redirect tools - redirect serial to IR, etc - but I have not seen anything that can accomidate this. Any ideas?
