estimated date for a new palm

does any one have any clue of the estimated date for a new palm to come out? i wan tto know if i should wait for a new palm or just a get a T/5 or t/3 because i don't like the t/5 and iv been waiting since it came out for the rite palm

Middle of this month. If it turns up, id consider it. If not, buy a T5 or Zodiac.

My guess is 4-18-05 announcement of BOTH the TE2 and T7(LifeDrive) with immediate availability of TE2 and very early May availability of T7(LifeDrive).

Oh oh yes our current devices are working perfectly well so we can wait for a month or two, in the meanwhile polishing the credit cards because P1 will have to enter into our pockets, may be May ending we will be able to choose either the TE 2 or T7 to replace the old age T3 thanks for its faithful service.

Just wait, you will get a chance to save more for something more expensive if you choose that the next offerings arent your taste. Though, I think that people would be impressed with an LD and Te2 like offerings from palmOne.

Honestly, I have my T|T3, I might wait until the device after the LD. Looking at what palmOne may offer with the LD/T|T7, who knows what they'll do with the T|T8!

Just something I noticed:
If the rumors are true, why everybody calls the LifeDrive the new Tungsten T7? Shouldn't it be the T6? I know the story why PalmOne skipped the T4 naming, but why now skipping T6?

6 has a bad connation in the far east as well as 4. Hence no palm VI or IV. But you had a III V & VII.

I'm guessing the E2 will be released on 13/04/05 along with a Zire 72b, also with BT and an external Wi-Fi card. Both will have the new connector on them.

It may not be called Tungsten T7. The Tungsten C is the one with WiFi therefore Tungsten C2 is also a possibility.
