I went to CC today and got the TG's flash player using filez. However, when I load it, it is still using the NX's flash-I am loading directly from the MS. I got all 3 files associated with the TG's flash player and was wondering if I have to switch them out using Jack flash? I tried to move them to internal mem but it couldn't be done as Rom files can't be overwritten. Any ideas?

you might be able to get it to work if brayder ever releases jacksprat for os5. I believe jacksprat will allow you to delete the flash player on the NX and then maybe you can get the TG flash player to work. Whether Brayder is ever going to release jacksprat for OS5 is a whole nother dicussion. good luck.

It all depends on Sony releasing the API's and if the ROM is so equipped.

I'm not on a computer that I can sync my clie with as I am at school. I'm will be able to either tomorrow or so however. I was thinking that it would be possible with Jacksprat, something that I don't think will be out for a long time...

how are you managing to install it? i tried overlays, but cant do anything with the lib. It's so sad that the updates we get are because we do them ourselves.

I'm also curious as to how you got that to run. I don't see anyway to get the MMFlashLib to run from RAM. The MMFlash file runs fine from RAM or the Mem Stick, but I still don't get any MP3 with that.

how was the flash player updated? what functions did they add?

i read in another forum, arent there supposed to be 9 files for the flash player? mabye thats why is didnt install

Unfortunately if you check the above link it specifically states that Jacksprat will NOT be supported on Sony Clie OS5 pdas. 

Strange...they get the Jackflash working but not the Jacksprat...disappointing to say the least!

supposed to be a problem with sony documenting their api's and rom; t|t user seem to be better of here
