I just read an article about the new Tungsten C that will have what I consider the PDA that more people would like to see for everyday use. Check this website out:

How soon will Sony respond and what will be their offering? Will we finally have the true replacement for the T665?

A little competition would do Sony good - show them they have to listen to their customers instead of ignoring them.

As I like to say... AMEN! I just heard that Sony is suppose to come out with a true T665 replacement in 3 weeks... you all heard anything about it??? I looked on the Japanese sights and could not find anything. Usually, they have this stuff out much earlier. Wouldn't it be amazing if it came out in America before Japan... yeah... like that is going to happen.

Good golly, the TG *IS* the 'true' T-series replacement.

This is like N760C fans waiting for the 'true' N-series replacement.

mashoutposse,

I would kindly beg to differ with you. There is a rather large contingent that do not agree... we dislike the keyboard a great deal and were hoping the 320x480 resolution screen with the power... but alas our hopes were dashed against rocks of abating carrot on a stick that we are always chasing but never seem to get close to.

Now if you are keyboard "nu" (LOL), then this is your answer... my fingers are too big for those little buttons. I always seem to press 2 or 3 at a time. Ugh!

By the way... I have heard someone make a comment that the 'true' T-series replacement may be announced in 3 weeks. If they are right, then we will see what Sony has to offer. I guess the pressure of the new Tungsten C is making them move... LOL. I hope so because I like my Sony.

man if this palm comes out with a 400mhz arm processor or even close...then just think of the competition from sony to one up them...man a 400mhz arm on a palm device....the pocket pc people will be sooooo jealous...we'll be running processors as fast as theirs but our programs will run faster...b/c it is hindered by all the microsoft complexity....definitely love the palm os system....can't wait to start seeing the games

I couldn't agree more with you. I cannot wait to see the games either. I think a 400 MHz processor would be insane and I would go crazy with delight. I cannot wait either. I hope they see that there is a market poised to buy... buy... and then buy. Of course, I am probably just speaking for myself. (LOL)

I agree whole-heartedly... The TG is a wanna be T665, though it is getting closer.

I noticed that the TG's keyboard has been a turnoff to most people.

I like the keyboard.

T1000X, I really think that I would like the keyboard, too, if the keys were a little bigger. My fingers are too fat and I cannot use it. That is my biggest objection. I guess it would work great if I had little thin fingers. That is why I like the compact keyboard over the little one when I have to enter large amounts of data.
