Hi, i'll tell you what i've gone trough with my Palm Tungsten T3, since i bought it, merely a year ago.
First of all, i'd like to say that i really enjoy my T3. It as incredible capabilities, and it's got me addicted quite fast. The sad side appeared when i had to send it for repair at Palm facileties.
I could deal with this at first, but now it's the third time i have to send my T3 for repair due to poor quality control. And as if i could run out of luck, they're running out of replacement device. They tell me that i'm an isolated case. Some kind of bad luck, but i dont believe in bad luck. I believe that in life, you get what you deserve, you just have to deal with it. It's cruel, but that's the way it goes...
Now let's focus on Palm. I believe that they've put to market a magnificent product, with is the Tungsten T3, at a magnificent price too. So we should be entitled to a magnificent experience. The problem is that Palm seems to have done things the Microsoft's way this time, which is 'Launch it now, fix it later'
So figuring on the Service Repair Number's (SRO) assigned to me from november 2004 to febuary 2005, there would have been something like a million repairs authorised by Palm over a four (4) months period. That bring's me to believe that i might not be such an isolated case.
All i'm asking you is to raise you voice, feed this thread and together, let's have Palm face the music.
p.s. I've started four other threads concerning different issues i've encountered with my T3. Feel free to comment, or contact me wasorar@hotmail.com
