I remember as a kid I had the SEGA Game Gear handheld. You guys remember these? Well anyway, they had a TV tuner accessory (http://www.studio42.com/vidgame/GameGear/tuner.shtml) that would fit right into to cartridge slot enabling the Game Gear to receive TV. Why do they not do this for the Clie with the CF slot?
I think that would be a very handy accessory. I did see that they are coming out with a box type of thing that can record and play TV, but that’s big and bulky, not to mention expensive. Anyone have any connections at Sony? :D
Oh yeah, I want 10% :D :D :D

I think L recall Sony experimenting with a TV memorystick a few years ago, but it never went in to production.

Yeah I read about that one. It's a shame it never went into production. That would have been great. I can already watch recorded tv w/ a video capture card, i just wanted to able to watch live tv as well. i will continue to search though.

Apparently a company called Dibcom is making a TV Tuner that can work on a Zire 72. Unfortunately, it only works on the European digital television frequency, DVB-H.

The Gamegear was neat... you could also get and adapter that let you play Mastersystem games on it :D
It got trounced by the Gameboy 'tho... probably because you could only play it for about 30 minutes before the batteries died :P
A TV/Radio receiver for Clies would be very cool 'tho :D
Not a good time for it 'tho... I'm wondering what the heck I'm gonna do when they shut down the analog transmissions... I haven't got a single piece of digital TV/radio equipment because I think it's a big con and a waste of money (Improved quality my arse)... but when they shut everything down I guess I won't have a choice :(
