I had purchased 2 Lexar 128Mb MS with the light, and have had no problems - these sticks came with 5 year warranties. I just purchased one of the regular non-light Lexar 128Mb MS from Amazon, and it came with a 90-Day Limited Warranty.

I thought all Lexar MS had the 5 year warranties? Has this always been the case, the different warranties?

The one I received from Amazon has a 5 year warranty.

The one I JUST received in the mail from Amazon.com, hopefully for $6.33 after rebates, has a 5 year limited warranty.

I just bought one from Amazon with 90 day warranty. Anyone know what's going on? I would be more suspicious except I bought from Amazon which is normally trustworthy. Something to worry about?

I'm guessing that the packages are just mismarked. Maybe the old warranty was 90 days and they didn't get to update those packages.

I just emailed Lexar with question about warranty issue. Didn't know that any memory stick would ever ome with only 90 day warranty.
