NX - 70V screen problems

I have a NX-70V and while I was goofing off, it slipped out of my pocket and dropped on the floor. Since then, part of the screen won't work. About one centimeter from the left of the screen there's a lot of banding and it's pretty much all white. but if i pinch together the top of the screen then it clears up again. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

I'm not sure if this applies to you though....you must have been confused since his problem was with the right-hand part of the screen. :D

yes , you need to send it to a sony service center they will repair the screen for about $130 including shipping and handling
