Not worth the effort. This software uses a bit of RAM up to mimic an external memory (like a MS or MMC etc). Unless there is a very specific use to partition the memory like this (like your ebooks), there isn't many applications which this would add more value or utility to what you already have with VFS, launchers and apps that are VFS aware.

no there are uses for it.
I have a 128MB memory stick but I also own a MS bluetooth adapter. Now I just want to send attachments from VFS using bluetooth connection. But when I use the Bluetooth MS I don't have any VFS.
If I get Palm RAM disk work on Clie nx70v I can use the VFS on memory for attaching files.

Okay then - this gives me a reason to upgrade from my T615C now... :)

I can see you point there ilkera. I suggest that you email the developers and see what happens.

When I had emailed Handwatch in the past, the developer never responded !

Apparently NOT

I've also had problems with it on the older CLIE NR (it works initially but eventually hangs and does nasty things, requiring a cool restart)

------
However, as mentioned in other threads, it is a simple way to test to see how many programs properly work with multiple VFS volumes.

Bottom line: not many. AFAIK none of the Sony built-in ones do.

So this bodes poorly for the hypothetical "CF" driver -- unless they put in a mode to fake out the CLIE into thinking CF storage is really MS storage.

In reference to the hypothetical CF Driver being recognized by the Palm OS.

Sorry for the confusion!

The driver works on my NX, as long as I'm in safe mode (UP + RESET), and since the safe mode has MS support as well, it must be some other driver, but no idea which, since Sony provides a whole bunch of libraries with every Clié
