Suddenly I cannot seem to access any of the programs on my memory stick! After I enable PiDirect and try to start a program on memroy stick my T665 crashes. Upon reseting I get an error message saying the device cannot start the handheld application (I assume that it Pidirect but it soes not tell me what application).
In FileZ I get an error when trying to move any of the applications from PiDirect to the Palm.
I have checked the lock on my memory stick and it is not locked. I enven tried it in the locked mode with no help.
I think this all started after trying to download some music to the card (MS Audio). I havve since deleted all of the music files without any help.
Any suggestions?

I suspect that is what it will come down to but I was hoping to find a solution that would preserve the programs on the MS. Murphy's law is thatI am out of town so I cannot sync and rebuild the memory stick unti I get home. Bummer!
This file corruption happened to me after over loading MP3 to MS once. Deleting the MP3s out didn't help, only reformating did. Always have MS backed up to PC and keep no less than 2MB free out of the 128 MB MS for safety factor since then.

I suspect that is what happened. If I remember correctly I did have some space problems when downloading the MP3 files.
Live and learn!
Thanks for the feedback.

WOW... i just sent an email to Sony's tech support askin if they would be willin to replace the 128 MB. I had thought that maybe it had just become corrupt. But, in fact, i had the exact same problem as you did. I transfered mp3's into a 128 MB stick (SanDisk brand), but i didnt really have any "non-success" in transferin them. Then, i also noticed that it had UNDER 2 MB of space left on it. It wouldnt even show the music... all it showed was "x's"... thanks for sharing your situation with us, because w/o it, i would have thought that i might just been one VERY unlucky guy! I would also love to find out what "triggers" this "situation" to occur... and then post a notice or something to the public as a warning in advance or something, well, thanks again!

So, does that mean that a temporary "RAM Disk" is created on the memory stick and that is why it crashes when you fill it up too much?
