i followed the idea of IR803 , i bought on Ebay an Haycom hi-204s mouse gps, with car holder and clie wire/charger. then i installed mapsonic 2.5.1 and all worked perfectly at first try. (and i'm not used to..)
the receiver in a cloudy day,in between tall buildings took in about 20 secs 6 sats, the voice directions are precise, and i've loaded a full map of north italy (80mb) with 7mb free of mem. in my clie without a prob.
the accuracy of gps/software is terrific: no more than a meter. if you take wrong directions MS warns you via voice and via screen in about 10 meters.
i tested it in a rural zone and MS has even the smallest paths.
next steps Landscape App . i want to see Mapsonic in wide screen..
