I dropped my T615C...and now it won't charge the battery or HotSync, nor does the power button work. Should I bother opening it up and seeing if I can fix anything, or replace it?

thanks

If it's under warranty just take it back to where you got it. If not, " you decide" do you know enough about how to ground yourself when working on them ? if you do, go for it that's about your only options unless you know someone that will do it for you. I am sure it will be tiny tedious work though. It is crammed full of stuff.

There is a company that repairs hardware, buys working and nonworking PDAs as well as sells some refurbished units. You can always ask who they would recommend if they don't deal with Clie.

I'm assuming you tried the reset. I had the same problem when I dropped my T415. It worked just like a hard reset and I had to restore all my files from my MS (using BackUpBuddy Free), though the included MSBackup should also work.

Yeah, tried that...but the power button wasn't working, either. Now the battery's dead, so it's the most expensive paperweight I've ever owned. :-(

Although, on the bright side, if I ever needed an excuse to get a new one...
