Hey all,

I think all you PSP holders will like this. I've modded the AudioPlayer v3.1 in the UX to play audio from the PSP Music folder. I'll do the same with MediaLMusic.prc shortly, seeing as a lot of you use it. Enjoy.

**BACKUP ALL DATA!!!!!***
I've tested this folder wise but I don't have a Duo Adapter so I couldn't test it from PSP to CLIÉ directly. For those who have it, let me know how it goes. Thanks.

Place all audio files in : /PSP/Music/

1)Download PSPlayer (http://jamerican.net/1src/PSPlayer/PSPlayer.prc)
2) Copy to MS/Int. Media
3) Copy to RAM (Do NOT HOTSYNC).
4) Reset
5) Enjoy!!

Can I use PSPlayer on TH55? Do I need to make my TH55 operate in Lanscape mode first?

I believe so, Try it out but backup first. I think you can only operate AudioPlayer in portrait.

JAmericanBefore that, may I know what does the PSPlayer do? Is it a special Audio Player for PSP? If so, wouldn't it be operating natively in Landscape mode?

Btw, does it work on ur UX50? I can't remember how the display looks on UX50 now, it's been quite some time since I seen the real thing. But if I'm not mistaken UX50 operates natively in landscape, right?

The AudioPlayer app is origially 320x480 so on the UX, its 320x320. It should work on the TH. The app allows you to play audio in the PSP/Music directory on your MS/MS Pro/MS Duo/MS Pro Duo card. More importantly the MS Duo cards. Some people like the fact that they can view videos on their PSPs and view them on their CLIÉs (w/ codecs) with no problem. This backward compatibility is not available for audio files. That means that for audio files to play on the PSP, you have to place them in PSP/Music while on CLIÉs, you place them in PALM/PROGRAMS/MSAUDIO. I fixed it to play music from the PSP music folder. This allows backward compatibility with your CLIÉ and PSP music files :)

Hey all, I've released an update of PSPlayer. It will now produce a seperate album than the one AudioPlayer produces. This allows you to select your PSP album or MSAudio album.

In order for this to work, you need to:
-install the prc from my first post
-reset your device w/ the MS ejected.
-load up PSPlayer and insert the MS.
-reset your device once more w/ MS ejected.
-load up AudioPlayer and insert MS (do step if audio is in MSAUDIO and PSP Music folders)
-In AudioPlayer, click the menu and select Select Album and two different albums will show up. Only problem is that you can't chnge the title.

BTW, I created this entire post from my handheld, pic included. A little proud of myself :)
