The only reason I am doing this is for my friend sonystyle, and because the ux50 and the psp both are the best of friends to me now. okay, here goes.
First impression:
Upon looking at this thing on the website it looks great, but the delivery time that the website states is horrible(they say 15 to 22 days to recieve items). I got mine in seven days(the day before psp came out), that was a good thing. Anyway upon recieving my brando case and Screen overlay, which came in seperate packages with a thousand stamps on both of them I felt excited. I open up the brando case first and was happy with what I saw. The only gripe that I have with the case is that they said it came with a belt holder and a solt built in for a MS Duo card, but thats not the case, as a matter of fact what I saw on there website as feature to the case they are not. They told me that those were customizations you could have done to other cases(That sucks). Now I opened my Screen Overlay and I am happy with what I see. Two clear screen protectors one longer than the other. I am happy to say that even with the plastic on it, it still looks clear as day.
Applying Screen Overlay:
I started to put my screen saver on as soon as I got home and opened up my psp box. I wiped my psp down and then popped of the analog thumb(which you really dont need to do since the whole for the anolag thumb is bigger). I started to apply it from the left side to the right trying to smooth out the bubbles as I go along. I recommend u have someone help u so it will be easier to apply. I had to go backwards a 1/4 inch some times to make it like up with the top and the bottom of the screen, taking in mind it has to line up for the square, circle, triangle and x buttons. After about 3 tries it was on straight and I started to remove the bubbles I had left before the overlay really sets on the psp. The only thing I dont like about it is where its white like the wifi, duo, and playstion logos are it looks like its bubbled even though its not. I guess so it wont peel off the logos when applying a new overlay. Also were the wifi and duo lights are it seems to be a bubble I cant remove, its real small but u cant notice it. I think I could have did a little better job of applying it( with the old hobby car) trick and spraying windex on the psp first and then the overlay, this allows u to move around the overlay with ease but I didn't know if windex would hurt my psp so I didn't.
Final:
I love them both, and I am glad I waited sevendays and spent 48 bucks on these two items. That might be alot to some people, but if u want a classy look and the best protecton these are the two things u most get. Most people dont even know that it has a screen overlay over it, I dont even notice it I have to remind my self about it. Sorry about any typos I am a Carpenter for christ sakes.
