I am getting Fatal Alert almost every time I use Netfront with the message 'Emul 68k common.c, Line: 1683, Entry already in use'. This ends up with a soft reset. Anybody knows how I can avoid this? My NZ only has 3.3 MB left in RAM after installing Netfront.

use jackflash to move it into the flash rom it will solve the problem that you had mentioned.

Just done that but still getting Fatal Alert. I remember seeing a post on setting the cache size and cookie preference. Would appreciate it if someone can give the advice again. Thankx!

Seems that deleting Netfront is the only solution. I cannot remember any one time that I can surf the net without ending up with a soft reset.

But not for webpro and net front as when you launch either one of them they will promt you to use as default or not.

YTTAN,
is there any big changes between Netfront 3.0 Rev 1.1.3 and Netfront 3.0 Rev 1.1.27? I have 1.1.27 on my NX and I find it very unstable - and would love to try 1.1.3 in the hope that it is more stable...any chance of posting it?

Please report back if it helps or works better for you. It could explain why some like NetFront and some don't if there is multiple versions out there.

Thanks!

Ok..well it seems like it does work a bit better....although not that much...the best receipe still seems not to use the zoom function too much while using it and exiting netfront every now and again when it "seems to do nothing"

Hi Catgenie,

I'm having the exact problem like you with my NX80 (in which NF is put in ROM). I tried everything, incl a hard reset but it didnt get me anywhere after I reinstalled all my other programs.

Do you have some idea what went wrong on your NZ finally. Appreciate for your adv.

you can eliminate the fatal alert by deleting the nf3* files ... use cliefiles to delete the data files, not netfront itself.... you do not have to delete the bookmarks file... you will see which one it is ... sort the files by name...

this happens often... some of the date files get corrupted... i have not sorted out which one it is...
