Avantgo running of the memory stick

Is there a way to run Avantgo on memory stick besides using power run?

The Avantgo OS5 beta allows you to store DB in MS and move
the Avantogo.prc to MS /palm/launcher. (it works on my N760C)

The off line piece of the app seems to work like that but if I switch to the online option about 1 mb of files get stored on the palm card.

You can also use ISiloX which allows you to put as much as you like on either the Ram or Card and you can choose whatever you like off the site you are downloading.

yes, I'm currently using Avantgo OS5Beta and I'd like to know exactly how to set it up to run the dbs off the MS

I finally got it working. I deleted it from my Clie, and then reloaded the Avantgo_ami_en.prc to the memory stick. Before you sync again after doing this, go to AGConnect, select Settings, and check the Use Card box. The memory stick has to be named for you to be able to select in the check box.

Now it syncs the web content to the memory stick. When you first select Avantgo, it loads the program from the stick, too. There's some delay, of course, but it only uses a small amount of internal Clie memory this way.

Tried it and it works fine on my N760 too. But it really takes a while to hotsync the pages to the MS, which I don't really like it. Think I will stick with the OS4 Avantgo files.

I got mine to work too......but syncing to the MS is SLOW!!! I think I'll go with Ddeath and go back to the OS4 ver. Thanks for your help guys!

Remember to clear your config, cache, cookies and stuff on your Avantgo internet profile page (My account -> avantgo sw -> advanced controls) else you will get error syncing to Avantgo after running the beta. ;)

Yeah it does take what seems like eternity to sync to MS, but since I just hit sync and walk away, saving space is worth it.
