Advice needed - Pretec WLAN

I bought a Pretec Compact WLAN card for my NX70V having been assured it was compatible, but I can't seem to fathom how to get it working.

I've read all the threads regarding the process for getting the Clie to read SD cards - is this something I need to do in order to get the Pretec working?

Or is it simply that I've been sold a pup?

I'm new to this PDA lark, by the way.

I bought the Pretec as well but can't get it to work as well. I posted a reply on the Mini thread as well.(Here (http://www.1src.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99794))

Hi guys - look at mini's tested cards - your card isn't on there! Unfortuantely he hasn't put the wifi cards that work in that picture, he's just put some random ones! Check his list and compare to the image on the cracked drivers! Sorry guys - doesn't seem like it'll work!

True, true. I just figured; the Pretec is a Prism 2.5 card as well, so it just might do the trick. I was wrong i guess. But i still have some hope that it's got something to do with my Euro-Clié...

I bought a Adtect Compact Wifi card last week and it works fine. Only costed me $18

Hi, I just got a Adtec 345 CF in the mail. Patched the driver (Thanks a lot to Mini ! :-) ) and installed it. Did a reset and put the card in. The LED blinks twice and that is it. The card is show as a network card with no driver installed. The Driver file is still in the internal memory.

I would be very grateful for any help with this issue.
