When I push the power button to turn on my Clie all of a sudden it starts up the to do app. even if I have no todos. I am using Yi show for Clie and Filez along with App Forge Booster Also I was using Today untill I realised I didn't realy need it then I deleted it. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

Thanks
Rob

This is my guessing...Palm OS remember only the last application you open. So if you were to have To Do as your last application you use before you shut your clie down, it would be there when you open it. It can be helpful if you can be more specify with your problem.

I don't use todo very often And when I do I exit to My launcher before I shut down. Untill I deleted Print boy and today it would spontaniously turn on and display the todo whether it had any or not. it was in a hard case so the power button wasn't being pushed while in my shirt pocket. I even tried anything I could to activate the power button while in the case but couldn't. It's the Fellows Case with the magnets on the bottom to keep it closed. Could that be causing a problem? Oh yes I forgot to mention before that it's a 615C.

Yea, ToDay is a pain. It crashed my system and when I deleted it, it left remnant (orphan file). Unfortunately I don't remember its Creator ID anymore. Luckily I did a MSBackup before installing it. So all I needed to do was hard reset the Clie and restored the RAM to the state before installing ToDay.  Fortunately I found something better and more stable than ToDay:  WASSUP

If you're not able to do that, one of the ways you can clean up the orphan file is:
1. Reinstall ToDay.
2. Check its creator ID with FileZ or SysTool or LeftOvers.
3. Delete ToDay again.
4. Delete the orphan file (saved preference) with one of those 3 apps.

It could be a 3rd party program that has mapped the power button to a program. Try deleting any and all hacks you might have.

Are you sure that the "To Do" button isn't just stuck down. Every once in awhile my buttons get stuck.
