Looking for test utility

This is more PC related than PDA... I installed a PCMCIA USB adapter on an older laptop in order to hook up my hotsync cradle and other USB devices(external drive). I want to test the throughput on this card. Is there any kind of speed testing utility out there I can run that will tell me how fast it's transferring data through the card?

easiest way is to take a large file and transfer it using a stop watch to time the transfer. then divide the file size by the time the transfer took. I really can't think of anything unless there is a benchmark app or perhaps the removeable storage benchmark in sisoft sandra but this wouldn't be testing the pcipma usb card specifically but rather the removeable media attached to it. But in a way the media would be affected by the usb card if its slower.
