You'll find much better (although still high) prices here:

It's possible the price reflects the cost for carrying the unit. Just try finding a cheap *new* Pentium 3 processor these days... ;) After a point, outmoded technology becomes MORE expensive because it represents inventory space that could be filled with newer, smaller parts. Of course, they could just be clueless... :D

I think I know what you mean... I was looking for a Pentium 3 processor, and the two places I found that carried some still... one place wanted some $140. Another place, wanted some $90. In the end, just bought a new motherboard and AMD processor for some $130.
Edit
Regarding the T665. Have you maybe tried your luck with local stores? It may be far fetched... but I remember seeing an openbox T665 when the last of the Clies were still at my local bestbuy.
Also, I was down in the States a few months ago, and at a Costco, they still had a T665 and NX70 on display. Not sure about stock, but they were on display; visible the moment you walked in...
Edit2
Or maybe Expansys hasn't updated their prices or something. Because, when the T665 was in it's prime, didn't it cost about that much? Man.. I remember when the T665 was one of the PDAs I really wished I could have... (looking up from an SJ20).. and now I have a UX40... hm. Somehow, the T665 has lost its appeal... though, the thin form factor is still nice.
