Camera Button resets?

I've been experiencing this lately and wanted to know if anyone knows the problem. When ever I use the camera button, my NX does a soft reset. It will do this one ar two times and then work. Any ideas, thoughts?

My only thought would be a hard reset. Then test it before doing any restore. This way you can rule out it being a hardware problem.

I've got sort of a similar problem ... I press the camera button the first time and I switch to the camera application which is fine ... but every now and again when I press it again (or press the 'capture' button) the PDA does a soft reset. I look on the memory stick and there is an image file recorded to the stick with the correct name but it has zero length. I've checked the stick on a PC and there doesn't seem to be any file system damage as a result. I've also had similar cases where I'm recording a movie and when I stop and it dumps the rest of its buffer to file, it just freezes requiring a soft reset.

Now the real infuriating thing is that coming out of a soft reset, the camera is guaranteed to work without crashing. So much so that I've taken to doing a test capture first before I think I'm likely to need the camera so if it is going to crash it'll do so and be reset by the time I'm going to use it. I'm trying to narrow down what may be causing it to die but I've yet to find it ...
