Hmmm, desperate are we? You can find tons of CLIEs on eBay, Amazon or even the classifieds here. I don't think you'll have much luck in the actual forums. BTW, the Dell's are pretty nice, don't feel bad if its all you can get.

Oh you know, RevJB, regarding buying from the US. It's only twice that I've been hit hard with broker fees. Usually seems to be when using standard UPS.

I ordered my WiFi MS from the US (MobilePlanet), and they shipped it via plain vanilla mail.. took forever, but no broker fees. Also, I once received a calculator from Texas Instruments. They shipped via FedEx, and I received no broker fees.

And also, TigerDirect.ca ships by some variant of UPS called UPS Worldship. They advertise no broker fees.

So perhaps if you plan your purchase out a little better (unlike me) and arrange for the right kind of shipping, you may be able to get by. Perhaps inquire about the shipping with the shipping company about broker fees.

Just a thought in case you really can't find anything here in Canada.
