loose swivel what can I do?

The swivel top on my nx80v seems to be loose, not as tight as I remember it. The whole top seems loose where it attaches. This is causing me some serious concern! Is there anything that I can do to tighten it?

I have found that my nx 70 v has the same problems, maby when I get out of school for spring break I will try to open up the screen and get at the hinge its already broken to some extent, ill se if I can post with the answer, but it will be about 2 weeks

I dropped my NX70V a while back and the swivel on it is now a bit looser than it used to be. It appears to be spring loaded so be jolly carefull when you take it apart there :)

I had a chat to the sony tech centre about it but thay say they'd just have to replace the entire swivel assembly :( I've just left it and havn't seen any problems from doing so.

Just how loose do you mean by loose?

Don't think you need to be too concerned. I've had my NX80 just about since the day they came out, and the swivel goes looser with time, but then stabilises. Mine's been like that for ages now and no problem.

Well, luckily its not toooo loose. Just looser than it use to be. So rather than panic, I will follow advice given here and wait a bit. Would be nice if I could just tighten up a couple of screws. Certainly not sending it to Sony to tighten it, if there is a chance that it will not get worse. :rolleyes:
