Hagiwara are the people you would expect to do this kind of thing (ie. those that brought the WiFi memory stick for people with memory stick CLIEs without WiFi built in)

Great news :)
I'll try to get one... Bad thing though is that is does not handle Obex... But I guess you can't have everything...
Edit:
Pre order done, it seems it will be released the 30th of march...

I received mine ;)
I made some comments here (http://www.palmspirit.com/GROS_PLAN_HNTBT1.php) (sorry, it's in french) and you can find "big" photos there (http://www.forum-palmspirit.com/album/thumbnails.php?album=164).
To sum up... It works like a charm, I love my VZ now :D

Is it true you can't 'Beam' things using this dongle then...?

The Obex stack has not been implemented, so, no, it's not possible...
I'll try more tonight, but I'm afraid there is no solution...
If you try to send via Bluetooth (Mc File for example), you have an error right away.
I guess it's normal since they should send files via "Craddle / Station" instead, but I don't know any software that do this...

bad. Obex was the main reason I would have bought it. So I will still use the NX70 with the MSB1.
How "strong" is the connection between the Clie Connector and the Bluetooth device?

Well, I'm not disappointed because I new from the beginning that Obex was not handled... The main purpose, for me, was internet connection using BT and my GSM (UMTS in fact)...
It is quite strong, I was able to use BT with the GSM and VZ, the GSM in another room (7 meters).
Edit:
By the way, to send a picture, for example, I use IR, I prefer to send objects using IR, rather than surfing on internet using IR... :D

I sent a mail to Hagiwara with some tracks, I guess it could be possible to integrate it, perhaps creating special utilities:
-> 1 of them launched and waiting for files (to retrieve objects from a GSM)
-> 1 of them that could be like Explorer software that could send file to a specific GSM
-> release the API they use so that someone could do it,
Anyway, they have to code the Obex stack... And it's not that simple (I did it for one of my PC software :D , it's one of the shitty protocol I have ever seen, with the SMS protocol).

Well, it is quite strong, just enough so that it does not slip alone, but it's really easy to insert / remove it.
