Well, I would like to share with you my story.
I had a Toshiba E740, and I switched to PPC because there was NO good notetaking application for palm. As some of you might know, the Toshiba has a bad screen, but besides that it is a good device. Then I saw the NX. I fell in love with it. BUT, there was still no good notetaking application so I was about not to get it, and I asked you folks here at Clie source.
Someone directed me to Clie Memo, and that is EXACTLY what I am looking for. It is so great, except it will NOT allow me to print. Can you print a Clie Memo file?
Well, anyway, I finally got my NX and I love it. I love taking notes with that app but I can't print it. I can live with that.
So I got it, and just for reading purposes I would like to tell everybody my current NX set up (though humble)
Clie NX
WLAN card
Brando SP
Vaja Case (not ivolution)
PowerRUN (havent registered, should I?)
Net Front
Win-hand
Wireless hotsync from within my network.
All of these work perfectly. I am very enthused about win-hand because I believe it has GREAT potential. Now all we need is support for the Hi Resolution + on the Clies. I got it working PERFECTLY. I can also wireless hotsync from within my network, but I have yet to sync from outside my network. I hear I have to open up ports, but will someone please tell me how to do port forwarding on a linksys router.
I am also getting QO Premier 7 soon,
With this I will be able to go onto my comp using win-hand, from ANYWHERE in the world (I think), then I can navigate to MSN. From there I will email myself at badandynx@hotpop.com and will pick that up on my Clie using send and recieve feature while connected to the wireless network. THen I can download the attatchment and open it (with native file viewing) with QO and have the ultimate mobile setup. This is similar to Mashoutposse's set up (which I copied this from) except he lives in NYC! Lucky, that is wireless hotspot heaven.
Just thought I'd share this stuff with you guys, since I always enjoy reading about Clie stuff, just thought I'd add something to this wonderful forum.
