anyone knows that which application can extract *.RAR file in clie?

I use FilZip. This free application was recommended by winexpt to me when I first got started on this site.

I use LightNZip (http://www.toysoft.ca/lightnzip2.html). Give it a try.

Forget it, there is no app that will extract .RAR files on the Palm.

From their documentation, "LightNzip can unzip Winzip and winRAR files created on the Windows desktop. The Winzip file must reside on the card. The file will unzip in the current folder. LightNzip will recreate the original Winzip folder structure if the file contains sub folders."

I tried LightNzip and i wouldn't open up .rar files
what are you doing inorder to get it to work on rar files
don't just read the web site, there wrong, it wouldn't work for me and two other friends. it you found a way to get it to work, please share!!!

What they should have said is that it can unzip ZIP-files created with WinRar and not RAR-files!

why not not unrar it on the pc.. then zip it if you want it compressed ?

Sure, but sometimes, instead of Zipped files, one needs to dowload .RAR compressed files directly to the Palm and a .RAR extractor on the Palm would then be quite handy!

The dear guys from Lighnzip are lying-if someone thinks that they're technically right&give them the benefit of the doubt think this:Why don't they mention that they can unzip zip files created by any other zip app??And why they chose not to mention the word .rar on palmgear??Maybe cuz even palmgear wouldn't accept it???

They simply try to trick us legally...(btw winrar exists for the ppc arghh...)
