There must be a way to fake a purple memory stick into thinking it's a magic gate stick. Has anyone experimented with the stick ID?

why would you want to do this?

There is no way to do this. There is a special encryption chip inside a magicgate stick.

why to do this? only thing i can think of would be to use a standard (and thus cheaper) MS in a Sony mp3 player.
