the MAI files are just an index reference with thumbnail

the movies are stored in

MQ_ROOT/100MQV01/

they have a MQV extension,

copy them to your pc and change the extension to MOV and they will play with the latest Quicktime player(6)!

It took me ages to work this out, with some help from a post on this forum, shame sony doesnt tell you how to do it.......
