How do I hard Reset My TG50/U

I have searched the forum, documentation and the Clie support site but haven’t found instructions on how to do a hard reset. I have purchased a Zodiac 2 and would like to sell the Clie. I am just waiting until I get my information off of it. How do I do a hard reset? Is there another way to remove my information?

It shows up on the FIRST page of Sony's Clie support site for your model Clie. It's also on page 27 of the Read This First manual that can be downloaded from Sony's site and that comes with your Clie. Also, out of the 500+ hits I received on the words "hard reset" at the forums here, here are a few you may have missed:

I'm not trying to be difficult here, but don't patronize us about how you've searched all these places when it took a total of 5 minutes to find all the references that you say you couldn't. I'm sorry for what I have just posted but needed to release...... :(

if ya havent done it what you do is to hold down the power button and then reset the unit. then a screen will popup that says if you want to erase the data press up of not then hit any other button and viola there.........you.......................go............
