Not at all (re: informing people of new software). I have no problem with anyone telling about new software they have created. It's just MY opinion that if you are selling something it should be clear if you are the author telling us about a new piece of software for sale, or if you are a user of the software that just discovered it. "Iraq and Palm" though?

Personally, I' tired of companies trying to deceive me, they should be based on honesty and integrity rather than deception. We got big companies like AOL claiming that it has all these great features are "exclusive" to AOL but forgetting to tell you that they just redefined "exclusive". Than we get people at ClieSource who post "hey!! Look at this great software I used and it gave the right answer!!" and forget to tell us that you made it. Of course you would say that, you made it! If you don't want to be labeled as a deceiver and alienate all those who are intelligent on this earth than be honest. Say you are the developer and ask people to try it and your thoughts why it might be good. You gain nearly equal amount of business and you don't risk alienating anyone who finds out about your little trick.

I'm afraid you missunderstood.
That's just a program that uses Tarot to tell the 'future'. I worry much more about this war than all of you. That's why I asked the this program the question 'Will this unfair war finish soon?'.

I know that people are dieing there every day (both siide) and that's why I protest for this war every day.

So I think it's a little 'strange' to hear that I am making a profit of this war using a stupid palm program. (All this war is about a profit anyway!)

I think the thread should stay- I agree that it is a bad way to promote a product and if more people see that then so be it.

You can't say you worry than all of us- some of us worry beyond belief about this war (British soldiers have died every day so far- none of them at the hands of Iraqis!!) :(
