I'm sure the speaker quality on the speaker cradle is'nt really
greate, but is it worth getting, say, for office/travel purposes?
Is it reasonable sound?

There is a thread on this somewhere. I'll see if I can find it. I like the speaker cradle very much. Suprisingly good sound, dynamic range, and you can hook up other devices like your minidisc player or laptop to it (for dvds, etc). Definitely worth the money to me, and I prefer to take that around instead of my srz (more expensive) speakers.
Of course, you can also hotsync with the speaker cradle too.

Cool. I've thought about getting the speaker cradle as well, because it would let me listen to music while I'm at work.
