Recently I have come to realize how much I don't know about computerized music and I was hoping for someone to explain some basics of how they do things or direct me to a site that explains things pretty well. I have to admit my knowledge is quite limited, but don't get me wrong I do know how to convert a CD to mp3 or Ogg Vorbis and what encoding rates sound good. But I think I need help understanding how to transfer songs easily to my palm.
Currently I use Quintessential Player to convert my CD's to Ogg Vorbis or iTunes to mp3, next I copy the folder of the compressed CD songs to my palm SD card using a card reader and then finally I create a playlist using Aeroplayer. I wish there was some music player for the PC that would let you make custom playlists and sync those songs to my card as if it was a regular mp3 player, so I could keep song selections fresh and easy to change around from day to day. If there is a way to make tranfering music to my palm easier than my method I would greatly appreciate the help. I know RealPlayer would let me sync in theory but I found the conduit very unstable and even crashed my computer a few times just tranfering songs. Is there any player that can sync the mp3's and playlists to a memory card reader or my palm, or even better using Ogg Vorbis files?
