Let me guess, you're an "XBox purist?"
Thanks Gizmo. :)

Thats pretty big news.
Nintendo used to say "Internet play is unimportant" ect. ect. Good to see they are moving forward.

I pretty much hate Xbox, and my favorite current console is Gamecube. Ironic? Nah, all I said was "who cares" to the wireless thing. It's pretty much a non-issue. Makes me yawn.

Ahhh. The only reaon I like the wi-fi, is because it will connect to my DS just like the GBA/SP do with the link cable on the current GC.
I love my GC, but if Nintendo would've had better foresight, then my broadband adapter would actually have more games to work with and more importantly, I would actually know someone else with one. :o My only reason for owning one is Mario Kart, but it's pretty much useless at the moment.

Of course, this is up to you, but you can tunnel it to play against people online.
Google Xlink, last i heard they were doing it for GC + PSP + trying to get DS

Insane to say the least. Worth the (long) read.

While I'd say that's cool and all, I wouldn't be surprised if at least two of the three next big consoles (Sony/Nintendo) had Wifi. It's not a huge surprise to me I guess...

My worry is that all new consoles will have wi-fi and there are only so many channels going around, so If my devices are currently butting heads, it's only going to get worse. I had to get rid of our 2.4Ghz phones, because they were knocking out the internet connection. Auto-chnanel select bites.
But I'm still buying a Revolution. :)
