Hey guys,

I'm all set to get myself a 1gb memory stick, and although similar questions to this have been asked before, I'd like to revisit the topic.

Basically, my choices seem to be (from a personal price perspective) the Sandisk Memorystick Pro, the Sandisk Ultra II, or the Sony Memorystick Pro. All are within $25 with the UltraII or the Sony being within $3. I'm shipping to Canada, so with duty and GST the 2gb sticks are just too much.

I know that that I won't get the benefit of the Ultra II on my clie (although it will make downloads from my card reader a lot faster), I'm still considering it with one caveat: My camera actually works better with a 40X Lexar CF card than it did with a 60X Sandisk Ultra II Extreme (which I therefore returned). It wasn't just my camera, but everyone elses (at least everyone that frequented a minolta forum) too. It was something to do with the buffer access speed and optimization for write speed (I don't really understand). This was even confirmed to me from the camera salesman when I exchanged the card! So with that Ultra II lethargic experience, I'm wondering if I might have a similar problem with my clie.

So here's my question to anyone that uses a Sandisk Ultra II card with their clie, have you noticed any issues with your card and the clie? Jerky video (if you're watching a DVD or like material), delayed access times to the memory stick (like when accessing a program from the MS), delayed writing times to the memory stick (like with documents to go) etc.?

Thanks to all in advance.
