Just surf the net. These threads in this site on the Accessories forum may get you a good start: 128MB Lexar Memory Stick for $11 at Amazon (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7645) and Damned CHEAP Memory Sticks! (http://www.cliesource.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1661&pagenumber=3).

Last Christmas I got 128MB SanDisk MS for $27 at Amazon. I received the $20 rebate check 2 weeks ago. There are plenty of good deals out there you just have to look and check ClieSource Accesories forum every now and then.

Thas a good deal for me. For me I will never buy lexar type anything always got problem with them from the memory sticks, all the other memory cards they have, and card readers. They JUST SUCK. To get a price like $21 for sony 32MB sticks with out
dealing with rebates thats great. Sorry but Im not the type to deal with rebates: Take to long the get $ back and if they lost all the paper work your out of luck.

Actually it's so easy to get rebate checks (just print the rebate out, fill it out your name & address, mail it with copy of UPC & receipt, then forget about it). I've done it on 3 MSs and get $50 checks back from SanDisks.

As far as not receiving rebate checks, it has not happened to me, yet (knock on wood).  In the last 6 months I had received $250 rebate checks from various purchases. None of the rebates got lost in the mail. The rebate companies provide you with on-line rebate status.

You just can't beat online purchases (no taxes, free shippings, rebates, do it at home at your convenient time, home delivery in 2-5 days). I just go to a retail store to learn more about the product before I buy it on-line so I know exactly what I want. This way it makes you think about it and not to buy it based on impulse.

Well have fun shopping for MS I have never had any problem with Lexar as yet. The only thing i Orginally had a problem was trying to format any memory stick.

Rebates are not only fraud, but they are also unnecessary. Prices should just be reduced at the point of sale.

i think the point is .. that not everyone knows about the rebates.. so more often than not people will buy fullprice without knowing... so the company still makes money.

however, if you're in the know... then you save.

i dunno.. guess it seems somewhat unfair but hey.. thats what forums like this are for :)
