memory stick pro

I've heard bad things about them (problems) What are these problems and are they worth it? I have a tg50 and want to order a 1gb mem s. pro from ebay. Will it work?

daborderz87, there is no bad things abt the MS Pro. All the problems that you heard were related to the fact that Sony has not released the update to support the MS Pro in NX, NZ and TG.

I got a 1GB last Fri and it is working all right even without the update from Sony. As you must have already heard from others, audio and video do not work yet. All other file operations worked without a problem for me.:)

They don't work because the system patch needed to fully use the MS Pro has not been released by Sony.

Anyone have an idea when Sony will be releasing this patch...? I was assuming it would be released with the launch of the memory stick pro...or at least a week or so afterwards...
