dont have a lot of cash, but fair.

looking for a UX40...50 if i must (but remember cash is LOW)

I bought a NZ90 and dont like it, might try selling shortly on ebay.

well, please email ASAP jimmyb@chebucto.ns.ca with price and condition, whats included

oh, i PREFER CANADA sales <no border hassle>, but if you'll ship same time I would consider US (just the border thing and time to pay ya and get sent out is really troublesome)

thanks
jim

You sold your UX50? Now you want a UX50? There's a quote, you never know what you have, until you've lost it. I have both devices. If I fix my UX40, I'll sell my UX50 but my UX50 has issues so I don't think you'd like it.

What I would really like is a TH55 but my friend already has one :(

Why would you sell your UX50 over your UX40? Have you lost your mind?

Well the UX40 does look better and the UX40 has less networking problems due to the UX50's Bluetooth and WiFi networks are intertwined. There is a lot of problems I've found with Bluetooth and WiFi while using the UX50 compared to the UX40. But I must admit, having 1 more feature, even thoguh you might never use it would not hurt.

Honestly, I'd keep the UX50. Integrated WiFi is the most important feature in any handheld device IMO.

I wouldn't say most important because DSPs are pretty important as well. I would say it is one of the more important features. I do prefer integrated WiFi better but I have to keep pressing the back to make sure its working right.

hey

the prob is needed a little cash, so sold the UX50, and picked up a cheaper NZ90

the NZ90 i cant get to play movies, on Movieplayer or Kinoma Player. Sucks !

I only put one update (like 5 more to go), 2 Bible readers, a book on there and I'm almost full 2 meg left (3 in Flash) and ur spos to leave that much room for Heap.

So I'm annoyed, And the little Screen hinge, i open and close a lot.

However the camera is amazing ! and my battery is good. With LauncherX and Portrait on this thing is cool.... but to sold the above problems?

I thought about a TH55 too JA... but NO FLASH ROM, just 32 Meg Ram scares me.

thoughts?

whats so big about the TH55 ?

Now that I think about it, the TH55 sucks. I've mostly loved it for its battery, screen and because the screen is not on a hinge. Plus landscape came out so now it can go landscape. That's really it. Plus it looks cool. Yea. It doesn't have Int. Media. That sucks.

I have quite a few CLIEs (it's a sickness) and I far and away prefer the UX50 (TH55 included). The landscape app make the TH55 a little more inticing but the lack of a keyboard, ridiculous power button position, and annoying flip-cover keep the TH55 in the desk drawer most of the time. I know there are people that moved to the TH55 (from the UX50) that are happy, but other than battery life I see no reason to change. Battery life isn't an issue anymore either. I have a charger at home, a charger at work, and I typically carry one or two fully charged EB40s.

I have seen many used UX50s going for $275-$350 on EBay. In fact I recently purchase another for $190 with WiFi issues. I took it apart and added a piece of folded paper over the WiFi chip and I now have a fully functioning UX50. I have since passed that one on to my wife.

LOL glassman, that's the way to go..... (I think I almost bought the same one... hehe)
I like TH55 for bigger screen and freestyle. That's awesome. 32Mb is plenty with most of programes. (I feel almost same space with the UX50 since UX50 only gives me a 16MB of memory even though I have 30Mb on a side.) I guess I have to learn how to install programs on 30Mb or memory stick without wasting my precious 16Mb.

I choose UX50 because it has more programs and I like the keyboard too. (basically more fun to play with.... ) I can live with no freestyle and small screen. :)

Hoping that next version of Palm OS can enable the bluetooth headphones.

I keep thinking the UX has a small screen because you guys keep saying that but it depends on your POV. I had a SK before this.

This is the Sidekick screen res...

BIG difference.

I don't currently own any other CLIÉ so I can say the UX screen is big enough for me.

Yeah, it really is. I get so many looks when I am using it. People are amazed at what it does too. I got a metal and a charging case now =) So it looks even better.

Besides e-bay (which I have tried), the UX50 is one elusive little unit to try to get. I have search all over the net/amazon/pricegrabber etc. I tried placing an order for four units and each order fell through. I'm giving up trying to get the UX50, and placed an order through dynamism.com for the VZ90.
