Last month I shot some pictures with my UX50 in a winter day. It was really very cold outside and on the screen of my ux50 two black horizontal lines appeared. For one month I tried everything that I could to get rid of them.

Finally yesterday, I forget it on the charging cradle without turning the screen off for 6 hours. The lines disappeared magically. :D

Any ideas? can it be the result of the ambient temperature difference ?
Anyone knows the temperature limitations for UX50?

I don't know about the screen, but I've found that when I take it camping (just in case someone still doesn't know that snoring rediculusly loud is out and has been since time began), the tempature variations from day to night and back really do a number on the battery. Twice now I've come to find that my UX won't turn on one day until I get home and completely charge it up again (even with the EB40). In fact, this last time, I actually lost my back-up due to my tampering before it was fully charged. Go fig'.

I Had a similar thing happen to my UX-50. Flew to Thailand, and humdity was extremely high, even in hotel. Next day my UX-50 was very flakey, reboots, and pen no longer worked. Tried everything, no luck. It was like this for a week. Flew back to USA, and it worked perfectly. I guess 14 hours on the plane sucked the humidity out of the UX.

I had also some situation. It was falled down by screen and hits something after this on the screen appears too many small white slot (or points). When I trying to clean it it cam bigger bigger and bigger. After few weeks it disappears magically.

I was very happy that DAY.
