nVidia has had several contracts before, this is the first I heard of an ATI contract, so we will have media, 2D, 3D graphics for cell phones from both ATI and nVidia.

so... anyone ready to jump? :)

Yay, more another avenue for 3D games, so I can look at one and say; "cool, I played that game 7 billion times all ready." I recently worked on a demo showcasing 3D phone games.

No.. phones are just now getting to the point where I would think of replacing my PDA with one, getting good gaming features will take longer still.

I really like the new rez of 272x160 that most phones have now, I just wish they had touch screen option also. I don't care for the PocketPC phones, nor the Treo. Although both are quite nice, they just still feel a bit bulky to me. (Yes, they are quite tiny though for what they do. :) )

The 3D games are about a PS One level from what I've been seeing.
