out of sync movie

Converted a standard 45 min .mpg movie using image converter into a clie movie. Starts off well, sound and picture in perfect sync. As the movie continues to play the sound and picture gets progressively out of sync. Anybody experience this problem?

Can anybody give some help?

This happens on mine as well. Usually TV episodes that are either .MPG or .AVIs. All starts well, but usually by 15 minutes in, it's out of sync, like watching a badly dubbed movie.

It's an Image Converter problem because I've copied the MQV file back to the pc, renamed it to a MOV, and played it. The sync problem is in the MQV file so Image Converter is the problem. My files were converted at Standard Mode setting. I'm guessing that High Quality is the best ( I haven't enough room to try it ) but what is "Long Mode"?

I had the same issue a few months back and it turned out to be related to the original conversion. I'm a little fuzzy on the details, but I believe it was related to some rippers (Like VirtualDub) that allow you to specify audio bit rates that don't line up with what the clie adpcm expects. Also, if a TV card was used, it may have been a problem in the original capture from the card (mine also had that problem -- turns out my PC didn't have enough firepower!)
