I have istalled desktop 4 for OSX and then the missing sync but "USB" doesn't show as an option in the Hotsync setup window. Anyone help me on this?
Thanks

Have you restarted? Do you have missingSync 3.0? There should be an option on set up for modem, IR etc, there you should be able to select USB Clie'

I just installed it and it took a little tweeking. I am at work so I can't relay the exact settings. If you are still haviing trouble, I'll check back later when I am in fromt of my Mac.

Sounds like a re-install is in order. Also, don't forget to check for the update for Missing Sync & Sony's flavor of Palm Desktop.

Thanks for the input...
I have the latest versions of both desktop and missing, but it just will not give me the "USB" option in the connection setup window. I tried reinstalling the missing sync, but that didn't do it.
Any other thoughts?
When installing it asks what folder the app should be stored, I think I chose the applications folder. Later it asks for another folder and I chose the Palm folder. Are these the choices I should use?
I'm a long-time Mac/palm(sony) user, but I am new to OSX so this is frustrating.
Thanks for your ideas.
Mark

You instal missing sync first and then palm desktop? If you have os x 10.2 get iSync and iCal. try that set up.

I installed desktop 1st, then missing sync...is that a problem?
I do have iSync & iCal installed and I really want to take advantage of them once I get missing sync to not be "missing."
Thanks for replying.

I think the documentation for install that you need to install the missing sync first
