Need TG50 battery

I live in South Africa where the TG50 was never sold. My son in Denver Co gave me mine in 2003. The battery is now dying. It is not practical to send the Clie back to Sony US for a replacement. Can I buy a battery from somewhere and get a technician from Sony South Africa to fit it for me ? I can pay for it by credit card, but if that is not possible I will make other arrangements to pay.

I just did this with my TG50. You can order through Laptops for less. I have no idea if they do overseas delivery. You can order the one for the NR70: UP503759-NR70. (It's the same model number as the one they show for the TG50. It's the one I put in mine.) You can either have a Sony tech replace it, or you can do it yourself, though I'll warn you that it wasn't easy to do it myself.
