alright i don't know what steps you've taken already but these may be of some help. first go to the clie preferences app. scroll down to network in the drop down menu on the right. There should be another menu in the top center that says service, tap it and another drop down will appear, click on Wireless LAN (other options should include compuserve, att, psi net, etc.). Tap the details button. Hit scan, this will show you all connections that it can pick up from your location, one of which should be your home/business network. Choose a profile and hit edit. Fill in the name, ssid, WEP is none, connectmode is infrastructure, autoconnect check enable. Hit advanced setup, check all 3 boxes.Click ok until you are back at the preferences/network screen (w/wirless lan and service dd menu). Once at that screen, hit connect. It should work fine

do you need the connection for wireless hotsync or to browse the internet...if you want wireless hotsync, it will require you too set up the hotsync app also which could be your problem

I know how to use the wifi, ive used it before. And wifi hotsync is not the problem. The problem is i never move to the "Scan Result" screen after i press scan. It just stays at the Wireless Lan Setup screen. When i press scan i see it searching for some connections in the "Connection Process" screen but after it doesnt got to the Scan Result screen.

Hmmm... I've had something similar to that before. I was down in Redmond, WA with my brother who was working as an intern at Microsoft. His apartment complex had wifi, so i took the liberty of being the first person to use it during the day. when i scanned for the network, it took me directly to the WLAN setup up page. i think the reason for that was because the signal strength was at 100%, and the network was the only one it picked up. Don't know if that's always the case, but the scans haven't jumped to the setup page since.
