I'm looking for some software that will tell me sunset and sunrise times around the world. This is functionality that I had on my old Psion 3c, but I haven't been able to use it since moving over to Palm OS (too lazy to carry two PDAs  ). A nice to have would be a "Sun Compass" - basically to tell me where in the sky the Sun will be at a particular time of day.
I would appreciate anyone who uses this type of software on their TH55 sharing their experiences & recommendations.
Thanks,
Phil

You might want to check out Megaclock by Megasoft2000. It does a lot more than you are looking for, but it is priced well.

Add my vote for Planetarium. An awesome program. Not only a sun compass, but a moon compass, or any other heavenly body compass. Star maps in beautiful hi-res color. Works with the new Landscape utility too!

Hello,
I really like Planetarium too. However, take a look at Astromist. This program has a very, very, nice GUI which shows the sun and moon rise/set times for a given location. You can choose the location by entering long/ Lat or by selecting a place on a map. You can a get a free copy of the program at www.astromist.com. Also, check the astronomy section of Palm Freeware for applications which require very little memory.
Good luck,
Anthony
I use TideTool. It's an app meant to show you the tides, but it shows sunrise/set & moonrise/set/phase also. CityTime also has this if you want to pay for this feature. I have it but I use TideTool more. Here are some links:

Best of Luck!

Take a look at RiseSet (http://www.freewarepalm.com/astronomy/riseset.shtml).
PatrickS, Thanks! I just tried RiseSet. It's a great program, as long as you know your lat/long. Fortunately, I Do.
