After reading on a few boards that you can use a product called Bluetooth Dongle to utilize the Bluetooth on our devices with our PC's, I am strongly considering purchasing one. Someone is selling USB Bluetooth Dongle Pen style devices for $28.95 and $10 shipping and handling. I have a few questions for experienced Bluetooth users.

Can I basically make my TG50 part of a network to the point of sharing files with my PC, being photos, docs, and music, and sharing them wirelessly?

Can I wirelessly connect to the internet with a cable modem?

Can I replace my cradle permanently using just the bluetooth to hotsynch?

And last question getting a little complicated.....because this Dongle device is pen size, am I able to bring it to work, Use PC anywhere, and connect to my home PC remotely allowing hotsynch away from home, but keeping my personal information out of the office?

Any links to websites to check the full capabilites and any replies would be appreciated, thanks.

Don't you need the cradle to recharge the batteries?

ANSWER: No, with the Palm OS last I knew you could not share files on a network.

Can I wirelessly connect to the internet with a cable modem?

ANSWER: Yes, but you won't have the range you will like with a WiFi card. Now, there are some BT access points that extend the range.

ANSWER: Yes, but you will need something to charge the device with.

ANSWER: You would need to setup a network HotSync through the internet to your main PC. I'm not sure how you would do it though.
