keyboard shortcut for shortcuts?

in prefs, there are these shortcuts; ie on grafitti pad, you draw a punctuation stroke (stroke upward) then write ds, upward stroke again, and you get a date stamp.
My question is: is there a keyboard shortcut for upward strokes? .

wow thx. that was really fast! that ctrl-K was really helpful. But it looks like there's no keyboard shortcut for making an upward stroke for time/datestamp or abbreviation shortcuts,
is there a way to use grafitti shortcuts (writing the shorthand "dn" and getting "dinner" on the screen) from the keyboaed using another program?
