Everytime I delete a a68k app. I get a fatal error and need to reset w/the reset button. The app. is gone but this problem is like a persistant toothache. Anyone else have this problem or a solution? Im using a tungsten t3.

Appreciate any help

What is the name of the file (and it's related app) that you are trying to delete?

It may be locked or in use by the OS for some reason. You can check lots of file properties using the program filez. Be careful though you can easily lead to a hard reset if you change some properties.

a68k files are compatiblity files for programs using non-ARM-specific code. They are system files that supposedly automatically delete after a soft reset when you delete the associated app. That's probably why it is gone after your T3 resets. Before a soft reset, they will not delete because they are protected by the OS. That is, except for Palm Insider Pro 1.0, which will delete them anyway after warning you about the file's protected status. However, attempting to delete an a68k file should merely produce a warning box, not a fatal exception. What program are you using to eliminate them?
