Okay, I hesitate to ask this because there is so much information available. BUT, I've been reading everything I can find, for months, and am now totally confused. Here's what I want to do:

Be able to use my own photographs as backgrounds on my NZ90 - I guess you call those "skins?"  What I DON'T want is to change the launcher - I like the one that comes with the NZ90.

So, what do I use?  Is there a program that will allow me to use my own photographs to change the background - something that will work seamlessly with the Clie launcher?  Will Wondersilk let me do this?  Or would Photoskins be better?

Please help - I'm truncated in the quagmire of TOO much information......

Thanks:confused:

There is a program recently done that allows you to skin the back of the Clie launcher. Check the back issues of the front page. They had a blurb about it. Also I believe the author's screen name is "The Spies". A search on that name might yield results.
Have no experience with Photoskins, but can tell you that phots converted to the required .bmp format for Wonderskin look like crap. BTW, Wonderskin only deals with the virtual graffitti area.
Z-launcher and Yishow both allow properly sized jpegs to be used as backgrounds. They look great as well.
Check the "Launchers" forum as well. It's getting pretty good traffic and contains valid info.

Thanks, oneeyesquare. I found the skin maker for the Clie Launcher by The Spies and downloaded it.  I'll play around with it to see if I can get it to work (I don't have a clue what I'm doing, but you have to start somewhere, huh?).

Thanks for the information, too, about wondersilk vs photoskins.  It was helpful.

No problem, MKPC. I was where you are when I bought my NX last Oct. That's half the fun playing with these "toys"...
